The National Trust’s first ever online peer-to-peer fundraising platform was created to support "A Giant Cause", a campaign to fund the construction of new visitor facilities at the Giant’s Causeway, Northern Ireland.

Visitors are invited to choose their own unique virtual stone which they can either sponsor as an individual or invite their friends to ‘chip in’ and sponsor the stone as a group. Alternatively supporters can use the platform to organise their own events: raising money for their stone by having a Giant tea party, running a marathon or jumping out of a plane.
